#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor, my son is 9 days old. Sometimes he doesn't wake up for 3-4 hours on his own but we've been advised to feed him every 2 hours. So should we wake him up after 2 hours or let him wake up and then feed?

A. dear until the baby regains the birth weight you should feed every 2 hours even if you have to awaken from sleep by gently tickling toes or lifting the cover
