#AskTheExpert Hello Doctor, my son is 16 months old. He was suffering from fever, cold and cough. we gave him Calpol 250 syrup, Maxtra and Kofover for 5 days. now the fever is gone. But still he is having nasal congestion and little cough. What can we give him to get rid of the same. Thanks.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. baby is 16 months old so baby on touch can have warm soles and head. It s a normal and healthy thing.
Check temperature at armpit level and if above 99 fahrenheit then we treat fever in babies.
Can give drops paracetamol like calpol / T 98 / Sumol as per ba y weight . Can be repeated every 6 hours .
