Q.

#asktheexpert Hello doctor My daughter is 2 and a half months old. We got the BCG vaccine done at the time of birth. However, there is no swelling yet seen at the location of the injection. Please suggest if we should get this vaccine done again or not.

A. you can wait till 6 months of age and after that also there is no hardening or any type of swelling then you can visit your doctor again who will guide you whether Re vaccination is required for the child or not

A. But that’s completely alright that’s completely fine there is nothing for you to be worried in this it’s good only that the swelling is not there because it’s really troublesome and painful for the child so it’s good that the child is not having swelling so need not worry about it
