#AskTheExpert Hello doctor, my daughter is 17 months old, her birth weight was only 2 kg and now she is of 10 kg only, she is active, eats all except eggs and she doesn't like milk but milk products. is her weight okay or low ? and how to increase her weight?

A. Dear mum, weight of 10 kg is absolutely normal weight for 17 months old baby, do not worry. You can add dry fruits powder to the milk to enhance the taste and then try feeding. Continue to give milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. Give variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. Add ghee to baby’s food. Give 5 meals a day and up to one katori every time.
