#AskTheExpert hello doctor my baby 1 year old suffering from cold I'm giving her coriminic syrup since 4 days 3 times but still cold has not reduced, what to do doctor, is it safe to give that syrup

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a hofme remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptomgs .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .
