My 26 days old baby is not sleeping the whole day. She is taking only short naps in a day and wakes up when she's placed on a swaddle. Also, we have started putting her on a spring cradle (Jhoola), which most people say that it's not safe for babies. Could you please let me know why my baby is not sleeping and crying even after being fed? Also, is it safe to put my baby in a spring cradle?

Yea kids do sleep frequently. its's quite normal in newborns .That's how they function. It's nothing to worry. After few months they will start to follow a sleep routine. Follow a sleep pattern ensure to put your baby to sleep at the same time every day. Feed a little more during night hours for good sleep.
