#AskTheExpert Hello doctor! Can I use black salt or rock while & avoid regular salt preparing baby food? Will he suffer from iodine deficiency?

A. you can give anything to your child in proper amount. start iron calcium and multivitamins supplements regularly and protein powder with milk twice a day. give Sunbath every morning for half an hour daily

A. Babies need only a very small amount of salt: less than 1g (0.4g sodium) a day until they are 12 months. Your baby's kidneys can't cope with more salt than this.
