#asktheexpert hello doc my newborn boy now is 12 days old.. his cord stump has dried n fell down on its own but there is some dried black dried blood like substance on his navel area and every night due to friction between his t shirt n navel a drop of blood comes out that can be seen as blood mark on his clothes... do I need to apply some ointment as such or some medicated creme on his navel thank you expecting your reply
