#asktheexpert heaving high fever 103f from early morning given paracetamol 2 times 5ml

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. kindly give paracetamol for fever and it is given according to the weight as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having.
whether higher medicines (ibugesic / meftal-p)are required or not will be told by the doctsor.
keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever
armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fevers
do body sponge and give plenty of water to drink and easily digestible food.

I would suggest you to kindly visit your doctor the fever is really on the higher side it really needs to break down so visit the doctor they advise you with another medicine that you can give as of now that will be helpful in reducing down the fever for the child
