A. It's not uncommon for children to have grey or white hair, and it can be caused by several factors, including genetics, nutritional deficiencies, or conditions like vitiligo. In some cases, stress or hormonal changes can also contribute to premature greying. To address the issue, ensure that your daughter is getting a balanced diet rich in vitamins and minerals, particularly those known to support hair health, such as B vitamins, iron, copper, and zinc. Foods like leafy greens, nuts, seeds, eggs, and fruits can be beneficial. If you're concerned about the spread of grey hair or if it seems to be increasing, it's a good idea to consult a pediatrician or a dermatologist. They can assess your daughter's health and provide personalized advice. In general, premature greying in children is usually harmless, but getting a professional opinion will help rule out any underlying issues.
