#AskTheExpert Good morning. Me and my wife both tested positive for COVID yesterday. My son is 8 months old who is on breastfeed is also isolated with my wife. She has prescribed Azithromycin 500mg, Dolo 650, Vitamin C and Zinc tablets. Is that ok to take antibiotics and those other tablets while she is on lactation. And pls do suggest any other precautions to be taken for my son. regards sharath

Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and these medicine should be taken to fight with corona and also as per the study corona positive mother can breastfeed her baby and it will not impact baby and also wear mask and sanitize before feeding.
