#asktheexpert Good morning ma'am. I'm 26 weeks pregnant. I have some doubts regarding the sleeping positions. Is it mandatory to get up everytime while changing posterior.

A. during pregnancy it is always advisable to sleep on either left or right side and not to sleep straight on back you can use pillows under your belly to have proper support and also in between your legs no it is not at all necessary to get up and then turn around you can directly turn around but very slowly

A. hi no but it is advisable to sleep on your left side for better blood circulation and digestion please take Healthy and nutritious diet keep your self well hydrated avoid sleeping on your back
