#AskTheExpert Good Morning Doc, Myn18 Months old boy is not responding to his name that much, sometimes he responded to our calls and sometimes he doesn't. Also not speaking more than 2 words.

If Your child is responding 8 out of 10 times and it is okay but if your child is not responding 8 out of 10times would be important for you to get a check with a child psychologist it can indicate a little bit of delay in to the growth of the child and that affects the speech and mental growth also little behind the age of the child and also if you giving any screen time to the child you have to completely stop it
