#asktheexpert From which age cerelac / solid food is prescribed for babies ?

A. Hai good morning !! Until 6 months exclusive breast milk or formula milk are suggested. Semi solids are suggested from 6 month onwards once or twice a day,rest of the day milk either mother milk or formula milk. As baby is 2 months old continue breast milk or formula incase of low/insuffiecient lactation every two hours and burp well after every feed. Check baby weight every month,ideally 400-900 gm per month weight should be gained.
