Doctor my baby is 1 yr but she not yet started talking. only says papa and mumma sometimes.

whole day I always communicate with her, tells her different things, shows her different different things but she not even tried to say anything.. she just smiled.

I m worried is it normal. we have other kids also of her age in my family and they are very communicative in this age.

Can u please suggest something what should I do??

by 1 year baby will be saying monosyllables atleast. it will improve eventually, and by 2 years baby should be able to follow simple commands and should speak 2 word sentences. by 3 years it's 3 word sentences. may vary a little .

Generally child speak small words after completing two years
please spend more time with your child
please buy some educationl toys like Babyhug building blocks wooden puzzle flash cards etc
