#AskTheExpert do you recommend toothbrush for 13 month old? She has two tooth right now.

ExpertDr. Garima VermaDentist4 years agoA. Yes. brushing of teeth should start as soon as the first tooth erupts. You can use a normal kids age appropriate toothbrush and start with a grain size of kids age appropriate toothpaste a few months later.

You can start cleaning your baby's teeth by wiping with a soft cloth or brushing with a small soft toothbrush and water. At 18 months start using a pea sized amount of low-fluoride toothpaste to brush your child's teeth.
