Q.

#asktheexpert Dear Doc I have been giving my daughter home food exclusively and avoiding all candies, sweets, chocolates and outside biscuits. She is also consuming well. But the thing is she is only gaining bone weight and looks lean. May I know why she doesn’t gain body weight

A. dear Mum, do not go by your child's appearance. if your child is active, playful, achieving all growth milestones, weight is within the normal range for child's age then it indicates good health.
