#AskTheExpert can I give Salt and sugar in food to my 6month child?

A. Dear mum, you can add little bit of sugar or even jaggery to your baby’s food. However you should avoid adding salt till your baby completes 1 year. Baby has no Salt requirements till 1 year.

A. Hello mom yes you can add a pinch or two of salt or sugar to your baby food you can use jaggery instead of using refined white sugar and rock salt or lemon instead of white salt at times
