Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy11 months agoA. For fever or pain, give paracetamol based on the child's weight and the medicine's strength, up to 4 times daily. Use body sponging to lower temperature. Consider it a fever if the armpit temperature is 100°F or more beforef giving paracetamol. Consult a doctor before using stronger medicines like ibuprofen or mefenamic acid. If fever persists after 3 days, see a dofctor. Keep the child in a cool environment.
