#asktheexpert baby is10month old from today morning fever 101.4no cold no cough how to overcome this

A. sir baby is101. 4fever 10month old doctor advised to give1. 2ml of paracetamol drops every 4hours is it k?? will it b overdose in24hours how many dose is needed in 24hour 4r6

A. the first medicine will always be paracetamol and it is given according to weight and power of paracetamol medicine you are having. give liquids and easily digestible food and paracetamol should be given only after food. keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as feverx to body sponge to decrease the surface temperature and should be carried out for at least 20 minutes with normal temperature water. higher medixcines (ibugesic / meftal-p) whether required or not will be told by the doctor.
