Q.

#asktheexpert baby is 8 days old and her bilirubin total level is 10.8 h mg/dl and her weight is 2.88 . is the level normal .

A. It’s actually very close to normal level and I think a doctors are not going to suggest you phototherapy you can keep your child into indirect sunlight every day twice in a day for 40 to 60 minutes that is going to help and also give vitamin D supplement
