#asktheexpert Baby completed 10 months but didn't get the teeth yet. is it a worry?

A. Hi kids sometimes show a little delay in getting their first milk teeth and it's normal..so don't be tensed and wait for some more time and meanwhile keep checking for the signs of teething

A. No not at all… Its completely normal to get teeth late. Infact if child will have teeth after started walking..he/she will have less problems as said by our elders. Every child is different and achieve milestones at different times.

A. Some babies get their teeth early while others wait until their first birthday to get their very first tooth. There is nothing to worry about. It is perfectly normal. In case the baby does not get a single tooth by the time he or she turns 18 months old, then there is a need to contact your doctor or a paediatric dentist.
