#asktheexpert at how many months will the baby start to sit, what should we do to baby sit

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. you can make the child sit with support after completion of 5 months of age. the thing is that the back of the child should be well supported along withy the head as well as the bottom of the child. after making the child sit if you see that the child is uncomfortable then kindly avoid sitting of the child again for at least one to two weeks

At 9 months he/she sits well without support, and gets in and out of a sitting position but may require help. At 12 months, he/she gets into the sitting position without help
