#AskTheExpert A friends daughter has the Hand foot and mouth disease and today is her birthday party. the recommended time for isolation is 7-10 days and it will be her 6th day today. my concern is should I take my child to the party as he turned 5 only last month. please suggest

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 8 m old boy3 years agoA. there is a possibility that you are child may contract the disease so kindly avoid such birthday celebration More proper information and answer regarding this will be given by your personal doctor and you can contact your doctor for this You can check with nearest doctor also in your locality.
