A. Hi hard and swollen gums is one of the sign of teething phase.. gently massage the gum pad area with clean finger tip or moist cold cotton cloth to increase blood circulation and hasten the eruption process of teeth

A. Hello good evening !! Teething generally starts by 7-11 months, for few it takes time too 13-14 months. As baby is 8 months old only and gums also hard it's a sign of teething. Mild Fever, motions, crankiness, rejecting feed, hard swollen gums are other teething symptoms. Soothe with soothers, teethers, finger foods, warm soups will ease from gum pain.
