Q.

#asktheexpert 4m old baby has sour smelling poop. exclusively breastfed. weight is 6kg but is lactose intolerance (stool test for reducing substance +) is it normal? my diet is normal. though I did have a mug of milk today.

A. it could also be a normal finding and as it is only a single episode observe the next episodes and the same thing continues then consult your pediatrician at once

A. Hi dear mom Smelly poop is due to infection in stomach. For this u need to consult with your doctor for the same as he will prescribe medicine after the proper evaluation of the baby. Take care
