#asktheexpert Hello, iwant to know about lactose intolerance, as my baby's pediatrician said she have lactose intolerance, which is related to her stool

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. it is ok for now .Hard stool is very common specially in toddler age as kids don't drink much water . Just increase of fibers and fruits in diet along with plenty of water will help in constipation . Other wise lactulose can be used if kid age is more than 2 yr .
