Q.

#AskTheExper son is getting cold and cough frequently in a months it's 3rd time. augmentin duo 5ml twice, maxtra 3.5 ml thrice, calpol 4ml sos, mucolite ls 3.5 ml thrice prescribed by doctors. in night he have congested nose and breathing from open mouth

A. just steam .Blockage of nose is due to the common cold and flu due to season variation . Steam along with other home remedy like maintaining baby temperature will help . Nasal drop like nasovion for block . Other medications like paracetamol for fever can be given if any fever .

A. Cold and cough in small babies are because of viral infections you have to treat them symptomatically with steam inhalation and saline drops in the nose of the baby e they will subside generally in a week's time
