#askthedoctor my gynae gave me abortion tablets on 24th April . it started heavy bleeding from the same day . From 30th April it was just like a few drops of brown like blood coming in all day . it happened for 3th April but on 4th April it again started bleeding like i am having normal periods. not that heavy but normal just like i usually had. today it's less but it's period is there. pls tell me how long it will take to finish . and any reason period almost over and then again started. my doctor asked me to go for TVs after 15days . can I go for it even if period is still there ?

After taking abortion pills the bleeding should get stopped within 5 to 7 days 
if it is continuing for so long then it may be related to incomplete abortion 
so you should check for transvaginal sonography which will help confirm about whether it is done completely or not
