#askexperts my 1 yr 11 month baby is fever ,cold monthly ... this month he got fever it's been 2 days temp is btw 99-101 rapidly, ped said to give p250 every 4 hr if temp is 100 more is it normal or any issue ? he is very active playing, talking pls advise

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medityucine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can bet used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms . Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .
