#askdoctors Dear sir my son is 4years old, he usually gets itching in the private parts, please advice me wat to do?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. it is very important to maintain hygiene of the genital area of the child and at the same time you have to see that if it is having some red spots it might be either due to bacterial or fungal infection and accordingly treatment has to be taken from the doctor

Apply Auntie septic cream over there for the time being and whenever you giving a bath to the child is clean that area properly so for boys it is different you have to pull the skill down and clean it and for girls also you have to put the water inside and clean it properly and still if the problem persist then it could be due to some infection
