#askdoctors can we give my one month old baby warm water to drink

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist4 years agoA. You should not give water to drink to your one month old baby. You should exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. Breast milk contains about 90 percent water and fulfils the hydration needs of baby.

No It is not recommended to give water to the child for about 25 week After delivery so once your child crosses the age of 25 weeks that is the right time for you to introduce water or any other semisolid kind of food to the child so as of now you’ll have to wait for some more time
