#Ask The Expert My baby girl is 4.5 month old.......her weight is 4.8 kg... When she was born her birth weight was 2.5 kg.. she is premature baby (36 weeks)... is her present weight normal?????

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist2 years agoA. dear Mum, weight of 4.8 kg is fine for your baby at the age of 4.5 months considering a birth weight of 2.5 kg. baby should gain atleast 500 grams weight per month.

Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil. Consult your doctor for further advice
