#Ask the expert hello doctor...meri lmp 2/10/2022 ki hai.. according that I am 8weeks pregnant but last 3 days before first scan kraya maine usme and 5 weeks aa raha usme sac seen hai but abhi heartbeat nahi aayi hai meri gynecologist ne after 15 days again scan ke liye bola hai.but I want to know Aisa kyun hua and kya ab heartbeat aa skati hai kitne chances hai..plz Answer

A. Hello dear If your dates are correct and the fetal pole is absent then it is a missed abortion. Sometimes the dates could be wrong and that’s why the doctor advised to repeat the scan.

A. No Fetal Heartbeat After Seven Weeks Gestation If you are past seven weeks pregnant, seeing no heartbeat may be a sign of miscarriage.
