After 6 8 weeks vaccine how much time baby has fever

when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. Almost 24 to 48 hours not more than that because it is just a minor fever as a child gets after vaccination so if you give proper medication every six hours and the fever would not ask for more than 24 to maximum 48 hours
