Q.
3 month old head and forehead is hot..can it be a sign of fever?.. his stomach is warm and hands and legs are cold

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. yes this is common in babies In small babies the head will be having largest surface area so there will be more blood supply and palms and soles will also have more blood supply there will be sweating to regulate body temperature it is not fever

Not It is a sign of fever if you ever feel that the body temperature is warm you always should measure it with temperature thermometer because you know sometimes I feel that the body is warm it maybe fever but the thermometer is actually going to reveal the temperature is the temperature is below 99° fahrenheit then it is not
