Q.
2 year girl having fever 100.9 and vomitting ..kindly suggest treatment

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating.
and you can also do cold sponginjig of the body if recquired

as water helps in maintaining body temperature you can give oral rehydration solution ORS..
monitor the temperature regularly
visit the doctor if fever comes repeatedly..
