Q.

2 month old recently developed red bump in the bcg vaccine site and now its oozing out pus. Is this normal? How to treat it?

A. bcg vaccination which is given at birth in the upper arm will form a swelling by one or maximum two months and then it will burst open and then pus will come out from it and after thatz it will become a scar mark. you have to take medical consultation if it days causing pain fever and discomfort to the child. also if the pus discharge is increasing or aggravating again you have to meet the doctor and locally you can apply t bact cream.
