Q.

1year 4months vaccination I given today nurse given paracetamol syrup she told given 2ml is it ok fir fever coming

A. you have to give paracetamol for fever as well as pain according to the weight of the child as well as according to the strength of paracetamol medicine you are having. there are different strength of paracetamol available in the market that is it may be in the drops formulation which might be having power of 100 mg or or 125 mg or 150 mg in each 1ml.d in syrup formulation paracetamol has got different powers like 120/ 25mg and 240/ 250 mg in each 5ml. so the doctor wdill calculate the dosage according to the power and weight of the child. paracetamol can be given max 4 times per day

A. hello yes paracetamol can be given for the child if the child gets fever which is normal after the vaccination and its absolutely safe and 2 ML as advised by your doctor can be given and any concern it will be better to check with your doctor
