Q.
11 months old doing hand flapping everyday when excited or happy. Is it normal? When his hand flapping should stop?

Author of questionMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Yes. He’s doing above things. Like speaking words like apple, cat, mummy, papa, dada, transferring objects from one hand to other, even he give me object when I ask him to give me, waving bye when we say bye, comes to me or dad when we says come,

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr old boy3 years agoA. Hai good morning !! Around 9-18 months it's normal in toddlers waving hands, moving hands,dance while excited.
As baby is 11 months old need time to assess.
What about other milestones cognitive skills is he responding to his name, speaking few small words, waving hands by saying hai, bye, mingling with kids, others, responding to commands like come,sit, holding things into hands , changing from one hand to other hand.
If any delay in above then consult developmental pediatrician.
