ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist1 Year agoA. dear parent, what's your worry about weight gain? if your baby has been gaining adequate weight at least 500 grams per month and baby is able to double the birth weight by 6 months then do not worry.

You can always give formula milk to the child if the child is not gaining proper weight with the feeding that you are giving because sometimes breastfeeding may not be enough so formula feeding will always be handy to help in increasing the weight gain and growth of your child
