why my baby cries after passing the stool, she has anal fissures, I am applying the gel given by doctor, and I am applying it since 13 days she still cries sometimes after passing the stool , how many days it needs to cure, my doctor told me to apply the gel for 15 days

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. yes anal fissures occur due to severe constipation you have to correct baby diet habits also give plenty of water and you can use glycerine suppository for easy evacuation of stools

As a home remedy you can help ur baby to sit in a warm water such that his anal area is in the warm water for few minutes which can help to heal the fissures. It should be plain warm water do not add anything to it. Include fibre rich foods in his diet to relieve from constipation. Keep him hydrated with lot of fluids.
