Why my 4weeks baby is not taking feeding properly and why he sleeps while feeding ?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist2 years agoA. it can be teething. better to show to specialist always as they get the correct diagnosis. try to avoid self and extra medication that will only complicate this and create more damage to the child

Falling asleep at the breast is a normal behaviour and is mostly due to a hormone called cholecystokinin or CCK. CCK makes your baby feel full and sleepy and it is released in your babies gut as soon as they start sucking.
