Q.

why is acrylic so warm. Can it be handwashed at home ?

A. if you're talking about the material used in sweaters that's the very purpose of that particular material and it depends upon the quality if they can be washed at home or not

A. Hi mom Acrylic is an thermal insulator which does allow body heat to escape and protect from outside colder air keeping the body warm..yes it can be handwashed at home and in the washing machine also
