Why does my one month old baby girl keeps waking up constantly but sleeps if I keep on patting on her chest?

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl6 months agoA. I think sometimes kids are scared in the middle of the night also which is why this happens but when you keep your hand or something heavy on the chest somehow mentally they are sorted that you are around or somebody’s so that’s a normal thing if you do not want to keep your hand and pat generally and keep something little heavier on the chest of the child it could be a towel maybe a sheet or something which has little bit of weight
