Whatever you feel is going to be more comfortable for your child you can go ahead with that you can try the outer one if you want actually you should try this when you are buying only get 2-3 with the outer pad and other two or three whatever you want to buy with inner package this way you’ll have a better understanding of what fits the child better and what should you be using
