A. For babies under 1 year, breast milk or infant formula is the best and most recommended option. These provide the necessary nutrients for growth and development. Cow’s milk and buffalo milk are not recommended for babies under 1 year because they lack the appropriate balance of nutrients, and they may be harder to digest. For babies over 1 year: Cow’s milk is typically the better choice as it is easier to digest and contains appropriate amounts of fat, protein, and calcium for toddlers. Buffalo milk can also be given but is richer in fat and may be harder for some babies to digest. Always consult your pediatrician before introducing new types of milk, especially if your baby has special dietary needs or allergies.
