which are best cloth diapers or dry feel nappies? without additional insert I need , as insert pad make it very thick for my son

Q. hello doctor, I have new born baby girl of one and half month old. it is really confusing whether we need to use disposable diapers or cloth diapers. if I use pampers like diapers she sleeps well for some more time and of course cloth will get wet and wakes her up. but as doctor says disposable diapers are not good and I am using cloth as much as possible. pls suggest. nowadays even cloth diapers are come with high absorbing efficiency with insert pads , are they safe to use .
