ExpertDr Suruchi JunejaPediatric Dentist1 Year agoA. Dear parent, brushing should start when the first tooth erupts which is around 6 months to 12 months of age. A silicone brush or finger brush can be used to clean teeth twice a day at this stage. toothpaste usage is optional. If toothpaste is used, it should be fluoride free.
