when the new born baby recognised mother??how many months?

See A kid get its vision of a completing the age of three months and then only a child can see things around and can respond to sounds like a whistle and other sounds which I like white loud and all and they can give a social smile also recognise it mostly happens by the age of six months slowly gradually only or child is going to recognise you after the age of 3 to 4
